Elle isn’t the only magazine with good timing on its side. C Magazine shot Holmes for its September issue just seven days before she filed for divorce and the interview took place only one day prior to her big announcement. Senior editor Kelsey McKinnon, who met with Holmes for the interview, said that while the actress wasn’t bragging about her five-year marriage, she certainly didn’t seem to be standing at the edge of a precipice, either. “Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand,” McKinnon wrote. “Most noticeably, the one name decisively absent from her lexicon: Tom Cruise. She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription.” When McKinnon asked if having Suri brought the couple closer together, Holmes added, “I don’t know. I mean…I don’t know. People have been having babies a long time.”
She looks fierce. Thanks V. as always. There you go, it seems clear here that Suri may be one of the reasons for the divorce (on parenting I mean). She was avoiding lying, but she could not be honest either so…there you go, that is the answer, no answer really.

I have nothing against Tom. I respect him as actor and movie star, i don’t know him obviously. Having said that, can you Angela cite a quote here against him? I don’t see anything.
But i see you planting stories against Katie instead. Oh, yes the source is Tom’s lawyer e some other source you trust. But i don’t know you. And i ‘m sure that Katie’s lawyer would tell a different story. You talk as if you and only you hold the truth. Well, forgive me if i and others have different opinions. Angela, you are telling Tom’s side of the story, which you assume is the indisputable truth. As Vittoria said, Katie’s lawyer would probably tell a different story. You know there’s a saying…”There are 3 sides to every story; his side, her side, and the truth.”
And even if Katie’s camp is guilty of what you’ve accused them of doing, who’s to say that Tom’s camp hasn’t done the same thing? Anyway, I don’t want to start a big argument. The point is that this is a Katie Holmes forum, and it’d be nice if you would refrain from making negative comments about her. I like Tom too, but he is not a saint. I’m sure he has done some less than honorable things in his life. I don’t think you’d allow anyone to badmouth Tom on his fansite, even if it were true. Let me tell you that people like you do not help Toms image. We do not know Katie, so we are not related to her nor do we represent her. You say you know him, have some kind of connection to him, well me tell you that this makes it easier to understand everything.
The way I see it, you are nice as long as people play along and say amen to everything you consider OK, if there is a disagrement, then you attack people.
