She was known for being one of the most fashion forward women of her time, so it’s no wonder Katie Holmes is enjoying filming her role as Jackie Kennedy in a new TV mini-series. The 31-year-old actress had an extremely colourful day on set in Toronto, Canada, yesterday as she donned a red and black suit for scenes in the morning, before changing into a purple maternity coat to film scenes with co-star Greg Kinnear in the afternoon. Holmes has been shooting scenes for the miniseries since early June, and said recently she is thoroughly enjoying starring as someone as iconic as Kennedy – if only for the clothes she gets to wears. Among the outfits Katie has been wearing on set are the pale blue dress Kennedy wore when she was pregnant, and the iconic pink and black suit with pink pillarbox hat she wore the day her husband John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963.
