Katie Holmes is celebrating Halloween a bit early this year — as a sexy Jack-O-Lantern on How I Met Your Mother. For those unfamiliar with the show, her character (referenced as the “slutty pumpkin” on the show) is a woman Ted met at a Halloween party whom he’s been trying to find for years. According to NY Magazine, HIMYM creator Craig Thomas revealed the news, adding:
“Katie is a lovely and talented actress, which is why we’ve saved for her perhaps the most classily named character in our show’s history.”

Katie Holmes hits the premiere of her film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark held at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Sunday (June 26) in Los Angeles.
The film was chosen as the closing night selection at the Los Angeles Film Festival.
The 32-year-old actress was joined on the red carpet by her co-star Bailee Madison.

Katie Holmes and Chace Crawford will star in the comedy-romance Responsible Adults, which John Poll will direct for Night & Day Pictures.
Alex Schemmer has written the screenplay about a 30-year-old med student, to be played by Holmes, who meets and falls for a younger man, played by Crawford, only to realize she once was his baby sitter.

Katie Holmes is definitely on quite a publicity trail right now, for her new Holmes & Yang clothing line and for her part as Jacqueline Kennedy in the upcoming miniseries The Kennedys. Now she has been announced as the new face of John Frieda’s Precision Foam Colour with a preview of the short film released online just moments ago.
Entitled ‘The Decision’, it stars Holmes as Joan Hudson, as a sexy high-profile actress who makes ‘The Decision’ to cheat on her colourist. But is it really worth the risk? Of course it is, after all this is an ad for John Frieda’s at home hair colour.
Katie’s crime thriller ‘Son of No One‘ is the closing film for this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will premiere at Park City’s Eccles Theatre on January 28th at 6:15pm.
